Network Security

Today security threats are exponentially growing and attacks are becoming more sophisticated. Large companies, small companies, government, finical institutions; everyone is being attacked. Attackers are going after more than just credit cards. They are also trying to get personal information, banking information, company trade secrets and patents. You need to do everything you can to protect your company data, employee data and customer records.

Is your network secure enough to help keep intruders out? Is your company data safe? Is your customer data safe?

Armstrong Communication Systems can help design network security and data protection solutions to secure your network and help safe guard your data. We design solutions using UTM (Unified Threat Management) with Advanced Threat Protection, ID Engines and DLP (Data Prevention Loss). This type of solution is flexible and allows you protect sensitive data and lets you know who and what devices are accessing your network. Advanced Threat Detection allows us to Sandbox suspicions files that could be a new virus that hasn't yet been detected. Sandbox allows us to safely test that file without infecting anything.

Leverage Backup / DR solutions from Armstrong Communication Systems Inc. to add an extra layer of data safeguard. Should your files become corrupted or accidentally deleted you can quickly restore the file or files. Our remote backup solutions encrypt your files so only you can view them.

Identity Engines (ID Engines): What are ID Engines? ID Engines are a set of applications that track users and devices on your network. NAC (Network Access Control) can be configured via ID Engines so you know what users are logging onto you network, what device or devices do they have logged on and where they go on the network. ID Engines can also automatically put certain types of devices on separate network automatically. This feature helps to keep undesired devices off of highly secure networks. ID Engines can be used on both wired and wireless networks.

Data Loss Prevention (DLP):

What is DLP? DLP allows you keep sensitive files from leaving the network of the office. If certain files can leave the office, but need to be encrypted DLP can automatically encrypt the file before sending.

Next Generation Firewall (NGW):

What is a NGW? NGW has a highly robust firewall, IPS (Intrusion Prevention System), and application control. You can create firewall polices allowing your denying traffic from enter and leaving your network using deep packet scanning technologies. IPS can be setup to scan inbound traffic for a number of know vulnerabilities and malware and drop that traffic.
